Rusty was a wonderful companion. He liked to join in if you were on the computer, watching TV, sleeping, eating. He was always there when you needed him. He loved to share my home, my life and my dinner! He was shy of visitors, but loved his Mommy. He liked having his own sofa, bedroom, and willing personal servant (me)! He got lost one time and we spent days walking the neighborhood, calling his name, posting notices of a reward, and he finally suddenly ran back in after we combed a wooded area nearby. He was a mighty kitty hunter and loved to chase (and catch) lizards, bugs, and other assorted game. He seldom liked a purchase toy and much preferred to play with lizards, strings, ribbons, balloons and the like. He loved to rub you and loved having his back rubbed and his chin scratched. He was a wonderful, one in a million blessing that I will miss until I am called home too and can see my precious baby again. |
