Memories of Sailor Boy
If tears could build a staircase I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you back. Your passing over the Rainbow Bridge left me with this deep sadness and hole in my heart but also memories I'll cherish throughout all of eternity, We will meet again...Of course you know that! I gave you many names and hats to wear...Sailor Boy, Angel Boy, Sweetie, Precious, Mr. Handsome, Boo and Boo-Boo to mention just a few. We formed a bond I've had with no other and a deep love belonging to only you and between soul mates. The happiness and love we shared transcends time. You were always the most kind, gentle, sweet, fun and happy guy. Your smile and laughter brought out the best in everyone. Especially me! Because you were perfect in every way, I was always amazed thinking you must be an angel. Plus, just looking at you took my breath away (I'd call you my precious doll) ... you became the love of my life. As the saying between you and I go... I love you to the moon and back, forever. I love you for all of eternity. You certainly loved your walks and you always expressed gratitude after every walk with a big smile and a nod. Attending daycare was definitely on your most favorite activity list as well as running free at the dog park. Now you can run free all you want. When it's my time to join you, we'll run free together. Another favorite ... travel and road trips like to Hilton Head island and Minnesota. Or, just going for a ride in the car. You loved socializing with the many friends you made along the way. You loved every dog and person you met...at one point you were going to be a therapy dog. You brought many smiles and joy to children everywhere. You were exceptionally well mannered and polite, unbelievable so. I'm sure they know that in heaven by now...how special you are. I taught you to pray. You could even say mama and good-morning. I'm missing our morning and evening cuddle time between you and I. We sure loved playing ball running around and around with me chasing after you. Even now I stop every day picking up your favorite blue ball remembering how we played and how happy you were. Every room in your home has your memory well established; every space of your yard and neighborhood has your mark. Now we hold all of those memories forever into eternity; til we met again, My Precious. You gave me a million memories...the love we shared will always remain.Love is timeless. PS Your daddy loves you and misses you immensely and is appreciative of the time you and he had together... the walks, rides in the truck, fetching the morning paper and helping him garden and until you and he meet again, look after him from time to time with the back yard gardening. He's sad without you here, helping him, keeping him company. I ask Jesus every day to hold you and kiss you and love you and when I arrive we will hug and kiss and be happy forever flying through he clouds and rolling in the meadows with angels and fur babies. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You... The Lord is your shepherd; He maketh you lie down in green pastures. Good Night My Sweet Little Lamb. I'll be seeing you... I love you to the moon and back! All My Love, Your Mommy always and forever.
