Sandy was a beautiful Colli Lab born November 17, 1996. She was only 8 weeks old when my husband brought her home for me. I named her Sandy, for her sandy colored hair. She had beautiful traits. She was full of life and energy. She loved lots of dog bones and treats especially peanut butter. She loved to go for car rides and take herself for a walk. She would open our front door and just go out. She was so much fun to have around and she would follow me around the house. I have countless memories of Sandy. I would lay on the floor next to you and put my arm on you and if I took my arm away, you would put your paw on me. She brought me so much love and joy to our family. There will never be another dog like you, Sandy. |
Sandy, you were more than a pet, you were a friend, part of our family and our guardian angel who protected us. Words can not describe my emptiness. I know you had trouble at times getting around with your back legs. But they went too fast and I tried so hard to make the right decision. It broke my heart, I did not want you to suffer.
You are truly special and will always be in my heart and thoughts. I will never forget you.
Sandy was cremated and rests by her favorite plant!
