Shelby, I remember when you first came into our lives. You were a sweet, gentle and loving cat. Through the years you have been there for your daddy and me in our times of need and now it is time for us to be there for you. Your memory has been immortalized in the planting a beautiful Japanese Holly. I also planted one for your sister Lucy. Both you and Lucy can send the rain from heaven to water these beautiful plants and everyday as they grow we will remember your love and miss you forever.

Shelby, my sweet and wonderful "Princess Sweet Potato" I miss you so much and I know you and your sister Lucy are so happy up there at Rainbows Bridge. I am so sorry I have written much, I find it very hard to do without crying. I long to feel you both cuddle up beside me in bed and listen to your purrs. I loved how you always made me feel better when I was down or not feeling well. Your gentle caress always made me smile. Today is your sisters birthday, give her a big birthday cuddle for me.

My darling Shelby, it has been actually one year since your passing and I still find it hard to come to terms with it. I wish you and your sister Lucy was still with me in my arms. All I can do now is just dream of you and Lucy. I love you "Princess Sweetpotatoe".
