These puppies didn't have a chance to ever know love...a warm hug...a gentle touch...a loving smooch. May they all rest in loving peace. May they find love in GODS hands.

Here is the story of 6 puppies that were left on the ice in Minnesota. The story is listed at the following link:

Six puppies were dumped on the ice with 1/2 dozen pieces of straw. An ice fisherman reported the incident after finding the 6 pups in a small area. He said that they tried to crawl to warmth but it looked like they froze to death on the ice. This person said that he drove his truck onto the icy lake at the public access of Crow Wing County Rd. He said that the pups were 1/2 way between the shore & the middle of the lake.

These poor babies had No shelter...not even a cardboard box. He could tell by the way the pups were positioned...some in mid step but most several yards apart...in the icy snow...that they were trying to find shelter.

These poor babies...they never had the chance to know what a loving home would be like. They never had the chance to know what playing with toys would be like. They never had the chance to taste all of the wonderful treats that might have come their way. Instead, they left this world in the most horrific way possible...they froze to death. Their little hearts barely beating...their little paws freezing...their little bodies shaking from the cold. And then they just gave up. No one would be there to help them...to save them. No one heard their tiny voices...crying out for help to get off the ice. The ice fisherman came but he was too late. The person(s) that chose to dump them on the ice INSTEAD of taking them to a shelter...they should...well, I can't really say what should happen to them. They WILL have to answer to the powers that be when it is their time. And we all know that those SNOW PUPPIES will be standing right next to GOD when these people are asked WHY. And unlike these beautiful puppies, the person(s) that did this act of abuse, will be spending the rest of their time in a very warm place...WITHOUT the luxury of beautiful rainbows.

Snow Puppies...you NOW have all the warmth you could possibly want. You have the beautiful sun shining down on you forever. You have all the food & fresh water that you will ever need. No one can ever harm you or throw you onto a frozen lake. You have clean blankies now to curl up on to take a nap. You have other Angels there to play with. There's so many places at the bridge that will give you shelter. And if by chance it ever snows at the bridge...don't be afraid...you will have fun romping in the snow with all of your new friends. Now go find Cole, Aker, Ursa, Mandy, Lady Wendy, Bucky, Karley & all of the kittie gang & have a GREAT time. You will forever be in the hearts of everyone on earth.

Who on EARTH would do something like this? HOW could anyone do something like this? Anyone with a HEART would never consider dumping puppies on an icy lake where they could NOT help defend themselves. I just don't understand. And I probably NEVER will.

I was in the petloss chatroom when a woman came in & told us about these babies. Everyone who was in there, was heartbroken. I knew that I had to give these pups a home here at this wonderful site.
They also had to be given names. So here they are...SNOWFLAKE, CHRISTMAS, SNOW ANGEL, WINTER, SNOW BABIE & SNOWBALL.

We HAVE to stop these people from harming the most precious of cargo...these voiceless souls. If we don't, this will continue to take place & we will continue to hear these sad & heartbreaking stories. Please join me in this crusade.

WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE PUPPIES TO DWELL WITH HIM ABOVE... WE HUMANS ALWAYS QUESTION THE WISDOM OF HIS LOVE...FOR NO HEARTACHE CAN COMPARE WITH THE LOSS OF ONE SMALL 'CHILD'... WHO DOES SO MUCH TO MAKE THIS WORLD SEEM WONDERFUL AND MILD... PERHAPS GOD TIRES-ALWAYS CALLING THE AGED TO HIS FOLD..
AND SO HE PICKS A ROSEBUD BEFORE IT CAN GROW OLD...GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH WE NEED THEM AND SO HE PICKS BUT FEW...TO MAKE THE LAND OF HEAVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL TO VIEW... BELIEVING THIS IS DIFFICULT, YET SOMEHOW WE MUST TRY... FOR THE SADDEST WORD THAT MANKIND KNOWS WILL ALWAYS BE "GOOD-BYE"... AND SO WHEN LITTLE PUPS DEPART... WE, WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND, MUST REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD LOVES PUPPIES... FOR ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND...
