Memories of Sophie

Sophie came into our lives with joy and energy. She knew no strangers and all who met her loved her - especially cats! She brought us the immeasurable treasure of her unconditional love and we are the richer for it. As she aged, she grew a bit less exuberant, but remained strong-willed and had no difficulty making her wishes known. She was a staunch ally through life's many adventures and misadventures. I know I would not have survived without her steady and loyal companionship. Sophie was my fur-baby who will live forever in my heart.

I lost a special friend today, the kind you can't replace, and looking at her empty bed, I still can see her beautiful face. I know she's in a special place our Lord has for such friends, where meadows, fields & flowers help make them strong and whole again. I know she's watching over me, she'll be with me when I cry, so with one more kiss on her beloved head, I told my friend goodbye.
