'Spain Marie Thomas' What can I say about Spain I rescued her as a puppy she was barely two months old but actually she rescued me in her 17 years we traveled the United States, she flew around the country with me and lived in 4 different states. Spain loved to travel cross-country by car with me, she was my best friend we played together we cuddled together we slept together we ate together I can't imagine what my life would have been without her in it. I remember taking her to dog beach and playing in the ocean, I remember hiking at mushroom Rock in Aspen Colorado and her running ahead and coming back to make sure I was okay she was always at the door to greet me she was the best dog anybody could have ever asked for. Spain has traveled to 30 states, she and I have friends across the country and all of those friends reached out to us when she started failing, and in the end they followed us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for years. Spain loved to play catch fetch, she loved opening up her Christmas stocking and laying under the Christmas tree watching the lights. Uer cousin's Madalynn & Preston love playing with her. Madalynn's earliest memories are playing with Spain and walking her on the beach. Preston now only four has known her his entire life he kept telling me, "Aunt Stacy, Spain in heaven with baby Jesus and you're so sad, I'll go to heaven and ask Jesus for her back because you too sad." From the mouths of babes. My life will never be the same without you Spain, you are my light, my love, my breath, my best friend forever and ever. I will never forget your big brown eyes your beautiful cinnamon brown soft fur, the way you always smell like baby powder. You are and always will be my soulmate, my best friend, my one true love. I can't imagine a world without you in it and I'm sure someday I will be able to function without you in it but until then I will greet you every morning and say goodnight to you with kisses and love Spain forever and ever. Spain Marie Thomas left my world on Monday, 12/18 at 4:50pm in our home in surrounded with her favorite toys & me❤ She was my soulmate, my bestfriend, my whole world, I will miss & love her forever. ❤😭🐶 Beloved furbaby & soulmate until I see you again on the rainbow bridge, love forever❤ Spain is survived by her mommie Stacy, Nana & Grandpa, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 2 cousins, 2 great aunts & uncles, 11 first cousins & one cat (lol) Spain you will never be forgotten.❤🐶
