When she was picked up as a stray on the streets of New York City, she had just had puppies(never found). She was in terrible shape--but the sweetest, happiest lttle dog! At the beginning she was quite an eyesore. Her hair took months to grow in. The scar on her cheek where a "large, pendulous tumor" had been removed, took a while to fade. And, then, all of a sudden, she was beautiful. For almost eight years, she was a faithful, wonderful companion. I miss her very much. Please also visit Beethoven, Buttons, Gumby, Hayden, JoJo and Mollie. |
