Bruce and I will never forget you, our happy dog. You always loved playing with your squeaky toys, you were so gentle with them, never ripping the squeaker out, just squeak, squeak, squeak. We are remembering all the funny things you did, like when you stole Bruce's ham sandwich off the kitchen counter when mommy and Bruce were first dating. It was so funny when we took you with us to get our engagement pictures taken, and you ran around the studio, and pulled the backdrop off the wall! I loved it when you used to lay in the bathroom next to me when I took a bath, then you would lick the water off my arm if I hung it over the side of the tub. All the times we layed in the yard in the sun together, and all the walks we took at night together. I remember the day I rescued you from the shelter, with your broken jaw... my leg was broken too, and we healed together. Grandma and Grandpa love you and miss you very much too. You will always have a special place deep in my heart. I love you Toby the toaster dog. 9/24/08: I can't believe that it's been one year that you've been gone from me. Not a day goes by when I don't think of you, that something reminds me of you, that I still find pieces of your beautiful fur in odd places. Mommy misses you baby. I'll always love you. 9/24/10: 3 years have passed since you crossed the rainbow bridge and I still miss you so much. I can still close my eyes and remember exactly the feel of running my hands through your thick soft fur, your warm doggie smell after you've laid out in the sun in the afternoon, and your big loving brown eyes as you followed me and watched me do things around the house. I love you. |
