Memories of TURBO JARVIS
My sweet boy it has been since last April that you left us my heart is ready now to write your story.
Our Turbo...your story isn't a bad one like the others that came to us, you came via family LOL
So our niece got Turbo and they were so very busy with kids that they didn't have the time he needed. They asked me a year prior to taking him to let him join our family, but we had so many and our Buddy was having severe seizures so we decided it wasn't right to bring an energetic pup into his world...but fate would intervene. She asked us again and we said, ok we will try it and if it doesn't work we will re home him........fast forward and that two year old pup became our eleven year old dog and now our angel.
SIGH
He was so funny and he was so full of energy He was a Flat coat /Golden retriever mix. He had the energy of a flat coat and the loyalty of a Golden. He simply was our Turbo Man.
He had the "side eye" we would call it LOL He had to check people out before he trusted them, my poor vet would get the "side eye" until the day Turbo left this world.
There are so many stories to write of our adventures with him and I will do that at a later date. He started out so healthy and full of himself but at the age of 5 he became ill and through testing we discovered he was allergic to almost everything. He had an open flare up on his rump and until he passed I would clean him with a warm cloth every time he went to the bathroom because surgery wasn't an option in the area. Some folks would say I could never do that... My sweet boy I wouldn't have traded that time of being your caregiver for anything.
Fast forward to April 2, 2019 after our time together and many adventures the auto immune disease and your old legs just took you from us. You were a sweet boy but your body was ready to rest. Like the rest I was able to be with you until the end and see you through to the other side to wait with all the others until we get there.

Hello sweet Turbo Man....gosh I love you so much. I think of you and smile as I look beside me at the floor, when you became sick we gauged your healthy days by how you would lay on your back with all four legs straight in the air with that loud shrill bark LOL you had saying to Bella. "come on lets play" I loved those days they made my heart smile, thank you boy for the love and devotion you gave to us.
