So many wonderful memories!!! We had great adventures- romping through the woods, over mountains, and to the lakes. You loved traveling in the car with us across the country and we loved your smiles and playfulness along the way. All those long running miles logged to help me train for events.Snowshoeing and playing in the snow. Finding a creek or river to play and relax in. And of course the snuggling and relaxing reading the the paper. You were always protecting me and there for me. Whenever a tear came out of my eye you were right there by my side with your head on my lap. I loved how you always wanted to help. You would pick things off the floor and bring them to where they belonged and you learned new things so quickly. I loved the high fives and the bone balancing on your nose! Well angel bug we had many fun years together with so many memories that will never be forgotten. We were together to the end and you were so strong. I will always remember your smiles, which bring joy to my heart. You are one tough teddy bear! There is a great emptiness in the house, a strong, energetic, gentle, protective spirit has been set free. He has left his body behind so he can enjoy the things he loves so much- running, playing, hiking, and enjoying a cold stream or a big pile of snow! He is a loyal companion and a best friend with unconditional love- he will always be in my heart. You are so loved Xavier! Thank you for your love! 12/06/10 We miss you buddy. I hear your hellos in the sunrise each morning and I feel your kisses in the sunset each evening. You are one special dog, my love bug. Thank you for watching over me still, having kind hearts send messages to comfort me. 12/20/10 Xavier we miss you so much. I thought of you with every step I took today up the mountain for the Solstice snowshoe hike. You always loved to play in the snow every chance you got! Well Christmas is almost here and we will miss your anticipation in opening presents and the fun you had when you finally got to open them in the morning.
