It's been one week since we had to make that last, sad car ride. We miss you so much, sweet baby girl! I still find myself saying "Lucy and Zippy..." and then I cry. We went yesterday to see some Newfies. One looked so much like you! He is the dad to some beautiful puppies. We are praying and waiting to see if one of those puppies might be for us, not to replace you, but to honor you as we love you so much! If one does come our way, we know you will be her nanny dog, even from heaven. We love you, Zippy girl! Have fun running with Yoda, and give Matthew a big doggy kiss.

Dear Zippy, ten years have flown by since you went to the Rainbow Bridge. We did get another Newfy and named her Zoe, Life. She died at age 6. Of course we got another. Her name is Zilly. She's now 3. We have love all of you Z girls, and because of our great love for you we will never be without a Newfy. Rest easy and look for Zoe. And play with our Matthew until we meet again.
