Title:Smile, We Walked Together for A While
A Little Bit about my submission: Losing my Kee-Gun dog was one of the hardest things ever for me and our family. This poem really helped me after we had to let him go to Rainbows Bridge. I don't know where it came from, or who the author is, I only know it arrived at our home and it could not have been more perfect as we had to help Kee-Gun go to sleep. We were with him for two hours trying to save him with the vet and her assistants and when we finally made the decision to let him go, we stayed until the very end and longer. It was so very hard, but I am so very glad I was with my Kee-Gun to say goodbye and to tell him how much we all loved him. His last moments were hearing our love being spoken to him!!!
