Kingsley bunny: you are one special bunny my darling. You were in my life for a brief time and in that time you gave me joy and fulfillment and warmth. We had quite a lovely evening together the night before you passed. You let me come into your "bedroom" and we played and cuddles and watched TV into the wee hours. I know little of your early life but I suspect that you knew love and kindness from people. The way you took to people with such openess and warmth is unusual for bunnies unless they have had some positive experiences before. I loved watching you enjoy that huge pile of mixed greens and I know that your last days were wonderful. Nickels Bunny took quite a liking to you and try to make you his girlfriend! You were treated royally, as well you should! I kissed your furry little head before I left the clinic and left lipstick marks on your beautiful fur. Let that be a reminder to you for now and always how much I love you. Play and eat and enjoy the absence of your pain. Share memories with Newbury and I will continue to say good morning to you as I wake, good night to you as I rest my head, and always keep you in my heart and mind.
