Bob
by Alice Clements.........................................
We rescued you from an animal home,
Frightened and scared, on your own
With a sister to protect you were nervouse and shy,
until one day you saw us passing by

You meowed and purred at the fence
You and your sister anxious and tense
would we take you home, look after you and care?
Of course we would right then and there.

We took you home and you ran away,
behind the sofa is where you spent your day.
4 days past and Honey ventured wary,
playing with her toys, but for you it was way too scary!

But my patience with you was just too great,
and before too long you were my best mate,
Ill never forget that morning when you snuggled in my bed,
Paws on my cheast and your face on my head,

The happiest puss i have ever seen,
crazy however but full of life and dreams,

then that day came only two years of being friends,
the postman came and said ''your cat '' but i herd your distressed
sends,
I ran to your side you had been hit by a car,
we rushed to the vets but it was just too far.
Your claws were no longer, and the sparkle in your eye had gone,
I waited for the desision of the vets but it took too long,
slowly i watched you fade away,
i said please god not now its a beautiful day,
I held you so tight and whispered 'i love you'
and i knew you said it to, by heart it went through.

I love you Bob dont you ever forget,
that day was the worst but we had many which i dont regret.

R.I.P Bob i love you more than words can say. xxx
