On July 6, 2006 my cat, Shafer crossed over to Rainbows Bridge to join his brothers and sisters. Shafer had a great life. We adopted him when he was only 8 weeks old. We enjoyed his company for 18 years. He was the perfect cat and had a very happy and healthy life. The pain of losing him is still there but I know he's at Rainbows Bridge where is he happy and healthy and playing with his family. We will all meet again one day. In the meantime I look up at the stars and tell him I love and miss him.
