Mommy's Litttle Man
by Angela Bird.........................................
MOMMY’S LITTLE MAN

I looked in the box and out you popped
Oh how tiny you were, my heart just stopped

You fit in my hand so innocent and sweet
I couldn’t believe you were mine, to hold and to keep

Over the years you played and romped and even rolled
You loved your big brother Cody, who was always in tow

You were not afraid of any size dog that came your way
Barking so intensely with big brother at your side, to scare them away

Demanding for attention as I walked through the door
There was no satisfaction until I picked you up off the floor

You licked me and loved me and made me laugh
Oh what a sight you were, when you just had your bath

Well little man your time has come
To once again romp and roll in God’s loving kingdom

One day in the future we will all meet again
Smiling and playing with my precious little man

I love you Al.
You’ll always be Mommy’s little man.
