Where The Rainbows Are

Where The Rainbows Are

Up above the sky so bright
In a land of radiant light
Amongst the clouds and moonbeams
There's a loving light that gleams
Casting a magnificent rainbow
Where so much love sends hearts aglow
To all the loved ones down below

A place where puppies prance
And kitties dance
Dogs and cats play away the day
Bunnies and fishes come out to play
And even wild horses have plenty of hay!

What's this place called you might say?
Why it's the Rainbow Bridge;
Where all the fur babies' boo-boos are kissed away!

So don't be sad
Don't get mad
For no one here is ever treated bad;
The old are young, the injured new
But one thing remains forever the same
They still miss you calling out their name

And someday when the time is right
You'll rejoin your furry friend
This someday soon you will comprehend

Know for now you're in the prayers,
This and every night...
Until that day when you reunite

For now all they want is for your heart to mend
So from up above lots of love they send
They'll light your way, while they play
They'll remember who taught them to sit and stay!

They'll keep you within their sight
They'll hug you from up above with all their might
They'll whisper in your ear
And kiss away all your tears
So don't you ever fear!

You see you have a guardian angel now
Look there's one barking bow-wow-wow
Gods little angels they've gone on to be
But that doesn't mean they don't love you and me

So smile up at the night sky all aglow
Watching all our little stars putting on a show
To that loving light that gleams
For our fur babies together work as a team
Making rainbows stream across the sky
To say goodnight but never goodbye

For love can have no end
Especially love for a true, true friend
Up above the sky so bright
In a land of radiant light
Where all our precious ones are alright
To this we bid you all goodnight
