Tia
by Arlene Ballenberg.........................................
We had your love for fifteen years,
Was not enough; can't stop the tears.
To say good-bye just broke our hearts,
We never thought from you we'd part.

Deep in our hearts a door did close,
with that final kiss upon your nose.
My baby-girl, we miss you so
and only hope that this you know.

The night before we said good-bye,
I held you in my arms and cried.
I didn't want to let you go,
and so I rocked you, to and fro.

Our lives will NEVER be the same,
You won't come running when we call your name,
with your ears a-flopping and your tail held high,
Why is it so hard to say 'good-bye'?

WE LOVE YOU TIA. WE MISS YOU, TOO. WE HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY AND RUNNING AND PLAYING, AGAIN. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS, AND THAT WE WILL NEVER STOP LOVING AND MISSING YOU. YOU TOOK A BIG CHUNK OF OUR HEARTS WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEFT.
