Goodbye, Bone bone. You were more then just a dog you were a defender of us all but mostly of Cody. You were his best friend.Pulling him out of the pond and biting horses who dared to try to hurt him. You comforted him in the hardest times of his life. You ran away with him when he wanted to be natures child.You crawled into his bed at night even after old age had taken its toll. You struggled up the stairs at night slipping and falling until the end. You fought off Rottwillers twice your size often more then one at a time..Because they had dared to get near your kids. You gathered up the horses when they got out. running them all back into the barn. It was winter everyone was at work or school but Daddy and he had a broken leg and a arm . You had never been trained you just knew what needed to be done and you did it. You didnt play awhole lot you had more impotant things to do. Gaurding your family being our friend...loving us as much as we loved you. We knew it was coming time for you to go, But how can you say goodby to a Dog / a friend like you. On Friday Nov 7th you let us know ... I planned on taking you to the vet saturday Morning to let you go in peace. We thought it was Best because Cody would be in Ky Hunting with Dad and wouldnt have to see you go . The only problem was How to bury you ? At 10:30 last night Nov 7th You took the burden yet again from us... Wishbone how did you know? Not 10 min after we had talked about this Wishbone passed away....Wishbone you was a great dog and you raised Cody pretty good... He wanted to help his dad dig your grave and he wanted to be the one who layed you in the ground ........You came into his life when he was a baby ,you left while he is learning to be a man....You will be remembered forever, you left your little paw prints all over this family heart. We will see you up in heaven Buddy. Just keep watching for us. We all loved you bone
