The General is coming
by Bobby Lee Temple.........................................
Bobby Lee came to us 10 years ago as a puppy. He was from a litter of German Shepards, but only and his sister survived after the kennel where they lived was struck by a tornado. His sister succumb to her injuries. They were finding puppies for days after the tornado. They named him Midnight Twister and called him Spinner. When we got him we called him Bobby Lee, short for Temple's General Robert E. Lee.

At two years of age, he began to have grand mal seizures which are controlled with medication. In fact he has not had a seizure in almost 3 years since being on medication.

Still where ever he goes, he gets compliments from everyone. He has a gray collar with stars on it that he has worn to signify his "General" status.

He is the dream of my boyhood. He will always be remembered and loved until we all meet again on the Rainbow Bridge. The flags are flying at half mast for my General.
