I love you, Mommy.
by Cali Martinez.........................................
Remember how we met?
How you looked in to my eyes?
We were meant to be together
This was no surprise

Oh, the times we played together
And times you got mad at me
We were so inseparable
I know that you're sorry

I didn't like it when you yelled at me
But I can understand
Being human is no fun
There's far too much demand

I'd get so excited
When you came back home to me
We'd cuddle on the couch together
It made us both so happy

You said I was your anti-drug
And you were my best friend
I love you, Mommy, I really do
I'm sorry it came to an end...

We loved each other
We had a real strong bond
But I was just so home sick
And now, now I'm gone

I know you're sad, Mommy
But it was my time to go
I didn't want to hurt you, Mommy
But I think you should know..

I love you, Mommy.
And I'm not that far away
I'll be in your arms again
When it comes to be your day

You're always in my heart,
As I am in yours, too!
Someday, Mommy, we'll meet again
And I will never leave you!
