Sometimes, a perfectly good animal is abused or maybe found starving on the streets. So, they're obviously taken to an animal shelter. Meanwhile, a person's perfectly good animal is sent to the Rainbow Bridge. That person wants a new animal, so do you know what they do? No, they don't go to the pound to help a poor animal, they go on the computer and look up a teacup poodle. They find a tiny little teacup poodle and spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on that little dog. Sure, purebreds need homes but their sure to find one. There are so many perfect animals waiting to die in pounds because no one cares about them. A terrior mix is just as good as a miniature schnauzer! A dalmation, lab mix is just as good as a lab or a dalmation! An airdale terrior, german sheperd mix is just as good as a german sheperd or airdale terrior! Some people just forget about those animals. The perfect animals. I wish some people would realize that animals in pounds deserve good homes just as much as purebreds do! Think about it.
