A very short story about my 4 footed friends:
Got to thinking about our wonderful dogs, the 2 we have now and those that came before.
They love their breakfast, they love their dinner, they pee, they poop, they sleep and sleep and sleep some more.
They look cute, they act cute. They play some alone and most often with us.
They love a tickle, a petting or a pat on the butt.
Then they crave another treat and find their special spot for another nap.
They run and bark and scare the birds, the squirrels, the deer but the cats laugh and tease from the other side of the fence.
They come inside and demand more treats, and get some more well earned sleep.
