Chantel
by Charlie and Tamara Phillips.........................................
This is a tribute to you and how much we love you. We were so excited to find a breeder who had puppies that were born on 7/4/01. We went to see the puppies and I saw a little white dog with a black ear and I knew you were the one. I know you felt the bond between us. The day came when we brought you home and we were all so excited. You loved playing with new toys and our other Bull Terrier Marcel. The both of you would run up and down the fence and chase squirrels out of the yard. We traveled a lot to find work and you and Marcel loved it. You were very loyal to us and sensitive to our needs. You were very lost when Marcel past away and sad but you were overjoyed when Binks came and then Lucy. The time came when you grew old and slow and I knew our time was growing less and the time came when we lost you and it broke our hearts. I know your fine because Marcel is near and off you two go into the green grassy fields. Now I have a poem of sorts from your dad. Almost twelve years Mom and I went to Brooksville to look around. Because we heard some Bull Terrier puppies were for sale and running around on the ground. We watched you all run, play, and roll all around. I said what the heck the one white with the black ear needs our ribbon around her neck. When time came to go and pick up we were over come with happiness and joy. When we saw you we were glad that we picked you and not a little boy. When we got home you put on quite a good show. Marcel didn't know what to think he thought you would surely have to go. But as time went by you both became pretty good friends and pals. Marcel knew his limits and what he could do around the little black eared gal. You traveled many miles with mom and me. North, South, East, and West both oceans you got to see. You never caused much trouble in the many miles that you rode. Both Mr Binks and Lucy you tried to dominant and goad. As you got a lot older Mom and I could see you were not as dominant as used to be. Mom and I could both tell our times on earth was growing very short with you. When you crossed The Rainbow Bridge you took a large part of our heart with you. Chantel you were a great pet and trusted friend. Love, Mom and Dad.
