My sweetie, Gracie girl. I remember the day we adopted you. It was humid out, birds were singing- my mom read in the paper about the CCHS (Copper Country Humane Society). She called there- and we were on our way to get you Gracie. We arrived after a half hour drive, and we looked at many puppies- none of them seemed right until we holded you baby, you licked me right on the face, remember? My step brother, Doug, said, "Joy, we should get her!" as he was holding you, remember? So we signed papers and my sister got to hold you to Wal-Mart. We got you a collar, toys, treats, leash, and food. I knew you were going to be a great dog- until a month later. Gracie, you wouldn't listen! We were trying to housebreak you. Nothing worked for you baby- I knew you were smart though! We had you for about 4 months- remember Stoney and Molly? You really had fun with those other two dogs. Stoney was mine though, but he was at my dad's house. Remember it there Grace? We had lots of fun. But when the day came when I was walking out the door with Kohl, (remember him? He liked you..) anyway, I was walking out the door with him, Jacqui, remember her?, was holding onto your collar Gracie... and you slipped out of it. Gracie girl, you were faster then anyone! That was the most fast I have ever seen you run baby...but you wouldn't come to me! I ran the fastest I could, but it wasn't fast enough. You ran across the highway, and i told you to stay there...i was coming to get you as soon as the oil truck came by. But sadly, Gracie, you got hit by the oil truck. But gracie, your earth body is now buried a mile into the woods...by my grampa's. I will always remember you baby, and your life span was only from Febuary something, 2006, to July 25th, 2006.I am only 9 years old and this is very hard for me baby, but you crossed rainbows bridge. But when it is my time to leave this world, I will appear at rainbows bridge by the gates- you will see me, run up to me, and we will cross rainbows bridge together, and me you and stanley will be together, for eternity. The End
