Dedicated to Susan a wonderful women.
I met a dog named Spirit
and that he truly was.
Soul full of love and joy
he did not want, but gave.
His little heart was broken
by his mother dying too soon
Spirit said too soon, Mother.
He did not want to part
did not want to leave.
He suffered thirty too long days
and found someone to help
and she did truly help lots,
his new mother he found.
Much, much too soon Spirit said,
but it wasn't soon enough
and he found his spirit again.
And Spirit the Doberman boy
once again gave all his love.
