My beloved Simba, (persian cat) I will never forget you, and I was not ready to say goodbye on May 12, 2007. You were only 2 years old and brought so much joy into my life. I can not begin to decribe the pain in my heart. I planned on taking her home that morning from the vet, and wanted to hear she only had a urinary tract infection.

However; I was given shocking, devasting news that, she was in kidney faliture from polycystic kidneys. PKD, a genetic chromosome. There is no cure for this in humans or animals. I held her in my arms as she slipped away to the angels. I love you, and miss you dearly, this should have never happened to you. It was a blessing you were in no pain.

I will NEVER forget you, "Simba".
