KaCy Bear
by Cynthia .........................................
KaCy was our Bear baby! She LOVED her Daddy SOOOO much! She begged for waffles when my Dad would make them, would LOVE peanut butter (and then lick the dishwasher after she was done). Once, my mom left the peanut butter on the counter and went out for the day. She came home several hours later and found that KaCy had been in the same spot, where the peanut butter jar was. She also had her "routine" in the morning with her daddy! Dad would take his shower and would get ready for work. KaCy would wait at the end of the bed until she heard the toothbrush hit the bottom of the holder. Once that happened, she got out of bed, ran to the front door, waiting to be let out. Dad would let her out. She would go potty and then get the paper into her mouth and bring it back to the house! AFter that, she would eat her breakfast and then go back to bed with Mom. At night, she could be dead to the world asleep (sawing zzzz's under the table). If you said "shoes", "leash", or "walk", she would go to the drawer that her leash was in. Someone would get a small piece of it out, and she would get the rest out and get the leash in her mouth. Sometimes, she would growl at her leash while doing this. Crazy dog! She was our KaCy Bear though! We lost her in February at the age of 10.5 . She had some major surgery on her leg to remove a lump that turned out to be cancer (which they got with just removing the lump). We think that she either had a stroke, a heart attack or had a blood clot break loose and go to her heart. My brother checked on her once at around 3, and checked on her an hour later and she wasn't breathing. She passed away at home, on the floor near my Dad's side of the bed. Mom and Dad were out of town, so that was the closest she could be to her Daddy at that time!
