Letter To God
by Danica Dunville.........................................
Dear God,
My dear little Emma is coming to meet you today. I know that all animals go to heaven because all animals are good, but i just want to make sure that she gets that special seat right next to you that she deserves. I have been Emma's owner for almost 14 years, sinse she was a puppy. I have learned everything about her, her quirks and dislikes, as well as her loves and dedications. In case you cannot tell which one she is, as she is waiting in line at your heavenly gate, she is the tiny Sheltie. The runt of the litter. But by far, the most beautiful of the bunch. She is dainty, quite furry, her little tongue sticks out of her mouth as she pants. I would like you to know that she likes to lay with her front paws crossed, in case she is resting when you come upon her. Her eyes are big and brown, they glitter with love at every moment. Even in the dark. She likes to be with people, not so much animals, so you might find her on the lap of a child who is also waiting to join you. When she is excited, she runs around in circles, herds lawnmowers and children at play. She is kind to cats and all small animals. She dosent like to chew on bones or anything hard, nor does she like to play fetch or tug of war, so dont even bother trying! (i tried for many years) She dosent like to get wet, but enjoys the pool once she gets all the way in. Shes a great swimmer. She loves to lay her little head on my lap, she loves to eat bacon and chicken noodle soup. She is good at taking her medicine, but i doubt that she will need any when she is with you. Her breath is reeeallyy smelly, sorry we didnt brush her teeth more often! And if you could, please take care of her back right paw, her nail is a little bit messed up. Please restore her to the age of about 4 years old, that was her best time. She is a good listener, i potty trained her and taught her to sit all by myself (when i was only 4). Her favorite food is Iams, but i dont like to feed it to her because it contains horse meat... Maybe you can give her people food whenever she wants it.. she would really like that. Oh and try not to step on her tail, she yelps really loud when that happens. Well anyways, please take good care of her for me, and tell her to meet me at the Rainbow Bridge when i pass...
Thank You,
Danica Mary Dunville
