Skipper
by Darlene LaRoche.........................................
Dec. 10,2011 marked the third year of my beloved Skipper being at the Rainbow Bridge. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him. I have photos of Skipper in every room, and often stop and think of all the good times we had, Skipper was a member of our family for 17 yrs. and 7 months, what a great time we had!! Skipper was a Rat Terrier, who came into our home at the age of 6 weeks and brought so much joy and love. I treasure all the memories, they are what makes the sorrow bearable, tears still flow, but I try to focus on the love we shared and all the fun we had, I try to remember Skipper with a smile. I am so thankful that Skipper has come to me in my dreams, it was so amazing to see him and feel him, jumping up on the bed, like he always used to and to feel him jump into my arms and give me a kiss and to actually feel him in my arms...it was so real...it was the best thing, to know my Skipper is doing well at the Rainbow Bridge and that he was letting me know he is waiting for me to meet him there when my time on this Earth is done, how I long to spend Eternity with him, to be a family and to never have to part. Until that time comes, I continue to love and miss my Skipper and know he is waiting for me....I LOVE AND MISS YOU SKIPPER !!!!!
