Annabelle
by Deb Morin.........................................
Annabelle, such a sweet soul,
Never was a problem to clean your dog bowl.

She knew how to spell R-I-D-E, get your leash, let's go,
Turning your head at all the McDonald's or magic window.

contort your body into a kidney bean shape when you would greet your buds,
Twisting your rear because you didn't have a tail, only a stub.

Lounging on the couch a favorite pasttime,
Getting all the love and treats you could handle was just fine.

Making an impression on everyone you met,
Not your typical boxer, my baby, you bet.

Belle you were my friend, not just my companion,
I'll be waiting to be greeted by your wagging stub again.

Belle, you passed away today July 14th. I will see you again, my sweet pea. Love, Mommy.
