When God made you he had me in mind
He said "the both of you are two of a kind"
You were supposed to be the children's pet
But what happened next I will never forget
You had a journey that you needed to get through
To guide you and help you was all I could do
My love for you grew everyday
I felt your love in the same way
God paved the way for the two of us
Even though I wasn't religious
He allowed me to take care of you
But, when your time came, there was nothing I could do
We went for walks everyday
In your cart everyone would say.......
"A LITTLE DOG WITH A BIG HEART.......
GOD BLESS YOU FOR TAKING PART"
You were a brave little dog you never gave up
That's why I love my little pup
My heart is broken in two
Half stayed with me and the other half is with you
Please send me a sign that you are o.k.
So that I can get through the day.
