Max lived at a assisted living facility with 3 other doggie friends, 2 dear old women, and 3 of us caregivers. He was the kindest sweetest doggie I have known. He would walk away from a fight, and would be the peacemaker. He was always first outside, but last to come in... he wouldnt until even us humans would be inside. He was a true gentleman. I miss his following me... always there, tail wagging, happy and sweet and just waiting for a kind and gentle pat on the head. He was the most beautiful dog... inside and out, andpatient, loyal and loving as they come. I miss his beautiful brown eyes looking up to mine, or his sittng close and just wanting a little petting (if I had the time) otherwise he would follow me until I did. I have no doubt he is with all the beautiful dogs and animals on the bridge... and probably leading the pack in some sort of romp. I feel a tug on my heart at his absence.. but I will see him one day, and all of the waiting.. will have been worth it. My other dogs on the bridge are with him...he is happy.. and surely must know how much we love him and miss him. From his sister Dutchess, and other house dogs Betty and Blue.. They will see him soon.. they are moping and so very sad... but they know he is in a good place. From us 3 caregivers... he is so missed.. and our hearts are breaking...tears are falling, but we will have all the wonderful memories of his loving loyal companionship. We miss you so much! And from me...Max... I love you honey...I will see you soon! Debbie
