My best 5 little Buddies

Mimi
Shadow
Sniffles
Opie
Mamoochki

First there Mimi she was like fine lace,
Nothing compared to her beauty and grace.
Her eyes were so blue, her fur was so white,
at times she got angry, I held her so tight.

Then I got Shadow so tiny and sweet
He was shinny and black and all night he would sleep
But he grew and he grew and got more like a Panther
I wanted a kitty, this is not what I was after.

I laid eye on this cat that I saw in the store,
And I said to myself "what heck is one more"?
She was sad, she was sick and I knew there was danger,
for the others can get whatever came with this stranger.

Opie my friends, was a love child of Sniffles
Who never let on she was so hot and fickle
She said, this is my baby, and a good Mom I'll be
So now I have 4, when I only wanted three.

The phone rang it was sister with news from a far,
Believe it or not, this cat leaped from a car
He was covered in oil, I just gave him a bath.
But I can't keep him here, so now you do the math!

My poem is done not much I can do,
I loved all my cats and still have two
Shadow and Mimi had a long and good life,
if I could do it over I would not think twice.
Sniffles is with me, out lived everyone
and when she is gone, I'll still have her son
