Her illness rushed in and took Buffy away,
So quickly it happened, in less than 2 days.
One day she was happy, healthy and strong,
Then I blinked my eyes; my baby was gone.

No time were we given to expect or prepare.
Now my heart is shattered from loss and despair.
My sweet precious Buffy, can you ever forgive?
That we let you go, no more life could you live.

My tears have not stopped since we said our goodbyes.
I'll never forget you, sweet Angel of mine.
You're now home with your sister to patiently wait
Till we see you again on that Glorious Day.
