Tiny Princess Cleopatra
by Debbie Dougherty.........................................
Thank you dear Cory and Marcy
For three and a galf years with your lass
But even the love she's been given
Can't stop the illness she has

You gave us your blessing to take her
And give her a new loving home
We did all we could to protect her
But her illness won't leave her alone

Now with heart-felt grief we've decided
To help her by letting her go
She's finally at rest, though we miss her
Much more than anyone knows

Cleo was one precious baby
And had so much love to give
To keep her would only be selfish
When she has no more life to live

She's at rest in her new surroundings
From her illness and pain she is free
But as long as there's breath left in us
In our hearts she always will be
