The Cat With Many Names came into our life in April of 2009. From a litter of kittens owned by a co-worker, this special orange kitty was as sweet as could be. We believed it to be a girl, and I named her many different names: Kitty O'Shea, Mochiko, Monster, Thing, Sunshine, and Tweaker. When I took her to the vet to be spayed, they told me they couldn't do it because "she" was a "he" and had to be neutered. Then the name Little Bear came to me. He was a fine cat and spent many hours sparring with my older Apple-head Siamese kitty Ricky. He leaped and danced and was oh-so entertaining. And, curling up with me and Ricky at night; soft as fluff. It was heartbreaking when I found him dead only two weeks ago. We think someone was driving fast through the apartment complex and hit him. I did have a cat fence system that keeps the critters inside the back yard, but he was adventurous and was always finding a way out. He did stick close to home, though, never venturing far. When I stuck my head out the door, he always came within a few seconds. Ricky and I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. Kitty With Many Names.
