Tribute to my best friend

A Tribute to Justice

I received a note from Heaven, it said many things. It said that Justice has arrived and he has earned his wings.

Justice was a tender soul, who loved to be held. He did not like it when people fought or yelled.

Justice was a healer, who made me smile when I was sad. He laid his head in my lap, and made me happy instead of mad.

Justice was happy and loved to play in the snow. He'd run, jump and catch snowballs all day long, until it was time to go.

Justice was my best friend, in the whole wide world. He's the only one who "got me", as I'm a complicated girl.

Justice was a funny boy; he'd do many silly things. He chased flashlights and popped bubble wrap, just a few to ring.

Justice was my child, my first of three. My life is incomplete now, but he says don't cry for me.

Justice was a blessing, I had for 13 years. Now all I feel in my heart is emptiness and tears.

Justice will always be with me. This I know for sure. No one can be so important to me and then become obscure.

I received a note from heaven, it said many things. Justice has arrived and definitely earned his wings!

"If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven to bring you home again."

I love you, buddy. Always, in all ways and forever!
