My beautiful Kitty , that is his name, passed on Dec. 21st. He was given to me when he was a year old, by a friend of my son's in 1990.
He was a tuxedo, white markings on his chest, white markings on tips of his paws. He had such a sweet nature. His former owner had named him Clarence but he didn't look like a Clarence to me , and I couldn't think of a name for him so called him Kitty. He answered to it, would come to me for some love. He had hyperthyroid, he was on meds for it, he was getting better ,then he threw up blood. Back to the vet we went, prognosis was pancreatic but vet wanted him to have a biopsy but I didn't want to subject him to that so other options were to put him or take him home. I chose to take him home, took care of him, syringe fed him his food, gave him his IV fluids, meds. He passed on at home. He is buried with the other furbabies by the pine trees. He is sorely missed.
