I lost my Tara this morning, I stayed with her all night, she was with me in the bed, I would hold her close. Somehow I knew she was going to leave me either that night or the next morning. She was not looking well. She had a bout of kidney problems and sepsis. When I was to bring her home, she had a stroke. After the vet staff saved her, I brought her home, with IV bags and meds and food syringes. She was a real trooper, tried to hang on to life. Last night, around 2 am she starting seizing, she calmed down and around 5:30 am she started seizing again, calmed her down, and lastly, 7:15 am, she had a stroke and convulsions and she died. I am devastated, and heartbroken. She was 14 yrs and 4 months old. Part tabby and part calico and I was the only one she allowed to pet her. She is sorely missed, my beautiful fiesty girl..
