Don't Give Up!
by Donna Snyder.........................................
This is going to be a real tough story for guardians of doxie owners. i had a doxie named Evis. He was the best fiend I ever had. He use to like tump everywhere, You couldn't stop him. One day when he was 7yrs. old he jumped off the couch. I heard a terrible yelp. After that I had to carry him outside to got to the bathroom. He hurt so bad he was shaking. I immediately took him to the only emergen bAnimal Hosptal at the time wich was in Aston, PA. He had feeling in his back legs when I left his back legs when I ;eft him there. When I picked him up on Monday he had no use of his back legs. They let him jump all night wanting some attention but he had none. When I went to pick him up the feeling in his back legs was totally gone. I took him to the Univ. of Pa. and they operatated on his back. Unfortunetly the operatin didn't work. Even after all the therapy I gave him ay homr. I had to to put my little boy in diapers. But you know what?....He was a happy little camper for 8 years after that. Ir you want details e-mail me. It was 2 weeks on Friday that I had to put him down. That was the hardest thing I ever had to do. He was my best friend abd my pride and joy. I miss him sooooo much. If this ever happens to you please let me know so we can discuss the options. Don't be so quick to put your baby down.
