Missing Princess
by Edna Jones
Missing Princess

I walked in the door
And you weren’t there.
I called and called.
No answer still.

The house is quiet
Too much so,
Where are you Princess,
Why aren’t you here,
Where did you go.

My heart is aching
It hurts me so.
The tears keep flowing,
I can’t stop them now,
Why, oh why, did you have to go?
