Please Understand....Only some can understand the pain
And the way that we shall grieve
And all the tears that fall like rain
When our pet does leave
Short or long the time may be
That they were in this life with you
It doesn't matter can't you see
It breaks our heart in two
So please just try to understand
That time may heal the pain we feel
But for now just take our hand
And know our love was real
