Molly 12 years young
by GEORGE WOO.........................................
Today,I had to take one of my precious Frenchies, Miss Molly for her last card ride. It was definately a hard thing to do. Molly, a fawn French Bulldog would have been celebrating her 12th birthday on 10-29-06.
She came to us as a kennel rescue, she had never had any love bestowed on her. We got her at the age of four. She was a site to see in those early days, she was dirty, swayed back, couldnt bark and was afraid of everyone. But with Time and tons of love she made a complete recovery. Her one quirk was the sound she made at night and early hours of the morning, a wail that would have scared a Banshee. I told my freinds that she was remembering the loss of all her puppies that she brought into this world.Well That dear old girl got old and the Vet said she had an enlarged heart and her quality of life was almost gone, so I did what a man has to do and well, lets just say I am a retred Police Detective and have seen all aspects of life to this day, but her loss, brought me to tears.
Molly was a sweet soul and now I can see her waiting on the other side of the river with our Boy Sammo, waiting for the hour of out reckoning.
Molly gone but not forgotten.
