AnniRae (or Baby Girl as I called her), a pedigree black german shepherd. She came into my life at eight weeks old from a friend who thought I needed another dog. As time passed she became my shadow, loyal and true friend, never wanting me out of her sight. She was certified as a K9 Search and Rescue dog. May hours we spent together just doing the things she enjoy while preparing for this job. She had hip dysplasa at the age of two, and we give her medication. She broke her right back leg, which we discovered when the doctor x rayed. He said the condition was so bad he didn't feel he could put a plate in that would work. I promised her I would never let her suffer like other dogs I had been around. The decision was made and she made the journey to be with her brothers and sister. Also her old playmate Higgins a black lab. I really miss her and I have a heavy heart. I know she is watching me and looking me in the eyes to tell me she loves me just as much as I keep telling her I love her. We will never be without each other, as she was cremated and will be with me forever. Baby Girl I love and miss you.
