"Mama, where did my kitty go" the little boy asked.
"He went to Heaven."
"How can I go there," he asked.
"You have to wait till it's time for you to join him."
"How soon will that be. Not soon" his Mama said.
"Just close your eyes and I can take you there."
So the little boy sat down with his Mother,
closed his eyes and his journey began.
"You must go beyond our garden gate.
There you will see a beautiful stairway.
Its made of Gold and there are the most wonderful
flowers all around.
Do you see it," his Mama asked.
"Yes, I see it now."
"When its time, you will walk up these stairs.
Its a long ways up, so don't hurry.
You may look back, if you like, to see the place you
are leaving and say Good bye to all of your friends."
"Are those stairs my Kitty walked up?"
"Indeed they are," said his Mother.

"Then what happens," the little boy asked.
"Kitty was met at the gate by wonderful
animals. No one was late.
"There were lions, tigers and kangaroos,
elephants, beavers and horses too.
They all have a home Beyond the Bridge,
way up in the blue. "

"Kitty decided to live with an older dog, you see,
and all in his family did agree,
it was a wonderful kitty that you sent me.
Kitty will be shown how to send his love
below, to friends and family and just for you.
If you look up in the shy at night, and see two
tiny yellow dots, way up in the sky,
those are your kitty's eyes looking
right down on you.
Messages are also sent from above on
Butterfly's wings.
So, Please never bother them, just give the message you
want to send. Please be sad no more, as kitty will wait
for you evermore.
You must always remember- just go to the garden gate,
close your eyes and simply wait for a
message from your kitty mate."
