When I rescued one year ago, I had no idea of what love you would provide. You were my unfailing buddy, willing walker, tireless friend. You helped me learn how to let you be a happy balanced dog who felt at home with our small pack. Yet, you loved every one in our extended pack. You loved my adult kids, my grand kids and my friends. You were a joy to play with, snuggle with, talk to. Although we had a lot to learn about each other, we succeeded in every way. Why you were taken from me so abruptly I'll never know, but you will reside within me forever. You were a 10 lb bundle of joy, so happy with life. Right now, my life is difficult without you, but I know you'll tell me when it's time to rescue and love another little fellow like you. I'll never forget our times together and I hope to see you again. I miss you.
