MyGirl
by Greg Smith.........................................
I had a dream the other day,

A man took me for a ride in his Range Rover. He told me that he wanted to show me something and that I would like it. He drove me up a steep, grassy hill and when we came over the hill, I saw a farm. We drove by a mountain lion and I got scared. He told me that the lion won't harm me and to look at him. I looked and I could see that the cougar was just laying and appeard to be waiting. Content and serene but missing someone close to him. I looked some more and noticed that the farm was a beautiful sanctuary, green, with rolling hills and trees and bushes,,,,and lots of animals, mostly pets and farm animals. I saw a bunny rabbit and a young cat playing, They really appeared to love each other.

I lost my Tiger on 6/1/09 and have been missing her greatly. I asked God to show me a sign that my Tiger was okay.

Well, I got my answer. Rainbow Bridge DOES exist.

I thought about the dream for a few days. Was it animal heaven?

I Googled "Animal Heaven" and the first thing was Rainbow Bridge.

I clicked on it and I was amazed. The poem EXACTLY described my dream!

My visit to Rainbow Bridge was only a tour. I never saw my Tiger in the dream. But I am comforted by that knowledge that she is waiting for me, Healthy and whole.

I wrote this poem about Tiger in June 2009:

Scratching and clawing on my couch armrest,
To wake up to that is simply, the best.

And when I go to bed at night,
MyGirl is with me, and that's alright.

I love how we'd play our little game,
I wish that things were still the same.

Now she's gone, I miss her so,
Still finding the courage to let her go.

She was, My Love, a part of me,
If you have pets, then you can see.

Im so sad, lonely and full of anxiety,
I've always preferred the four-legged variety.

I have to move on, and make her proud,
But I still call her name, out, aloud.

Tiger, I know that I'll see you again,
Why do some folks call it, "The End"?

Heaven, no doubt, will Heaven be,
When MyGirl welcomes me.

And when we meet, we'll play forever,
That will be the best day ever!

Thank you for your site and reinforcing the knowledge that MyGirl is happy and waiting for me.
