LETTING GO OF LAVI
by Heather MacIsaac.........................................
Lavender was my favorite rabbit. We always played in the grass during the day and cuddled on the couch while watching Teen Titans on TV during the night. Then one day, Lavender didn't come out of her favorite box. Sometimes she wouldn't come out unless you put your hand in through one of the openings. I did this and felt her body, but it was cold and unmoving. I realized that she had died. This is so unfair, I thought. I mourned for hours and buried her near the Burning Bush in my front yard. Still, there was pain in my heart. So, I asked God for help in my time of need, and my prayer was answered.

If you have lost a bunny, or any pet, and are still in pain, ask God to help you and He will send it. Lavender's memory still lives on in my heart and I have made a photo album with pictures of her so I can see her whenever I get lonely. That also helps me.
